Sarah Habibi to compete at provincial Three Minute Thesis

On Wednesday, April 17, Â鶹´«Ã½’s 2019 Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) winner Sarah Habibi will head to McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario to represent the university at the 3MT® provincial competition. Best of luck to Sarah as she presents her research: .

3MT® Ontario judges include:

  • Rob Baker, guitarist for the Tragically Hip.
  • Emily Chung, Producer/Senior Reporter, Technology and Science, CBC.
  • Tim Potocic, President, Sonic Unyon Records.
  • Jane Travers, Vice-President for Asset Management and Optimization, Ontario Power Generation.
  • Pearl Veenema, President and CEO, Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation

The judges will select the provincial winners, who will receive more than $2,000 in total prize money. The top five presenters will move on to the national level, an online competition co-ordinated by the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies.
