Spend time in nature this August
To support the university’s commitment to a healthy workplace, the university’s encourages you to participate in the by spending 30 minutes outside in nature every day for the month of August, as part of the movement.
Decompress and reflect while you take in the natural beauty around you. There are countless ways to unplug and unwind, whether it’s going for a short walk around your neighbourhood, sitting under a shady tree or taking a moment to stop and smell the flowers.
You can also get your nature fix by participating in the free weekly Yoga in the Commons sessions, which take place every Wednesday in August from noon to 1 p.m. in Polonsky Commons.
