Celebrate Equity Awareness Week through October 11
The Office of Student Life will host a number of events on campus through Friday, October 11 in recognition of Equity Awareness Week at Â鶹´«Ã½:
Let’s Talk Equity booths
Stop by the educational booths at the north and downtown Oshawa campus locations to learn about various equity and inclusion-related issues the university community faces on campus. Pick up some treats and informational handouts , and talk equity with other members of the university community!
- When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday, October 11
- Where:
- North Oshawa location: Energy Systems and Nuclear Science Research Centre, Atrium
- Downtown Oshawa location: 61 Charles Street Building, first floor
FLEX facility tour and group fitness class
As part of this year’s Equity in Health, Fitness and Nutrition theme, Student Life will host a 15-minute tour of the , followed by a free group fitness class.
- When: Tour begins at 5:15 p.m.; group fitness class runs from 5:40 to 6 p.m.
- Where: Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre (CRWC) entrance
These events are part of the university’s Let’s Talk Equity initiatives, which focus on encouraging conversations about equity and inclusivity on campus.
