Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s Pi Day of Giving is almost here – Monday, March 14
Monday, March 14 marks Â鶹´«Ã½’s fifth-annual . It’s an amazing tradition where the community comes together to support our students.
This year, we will celebrate our Pi Day of Giving on campus and online. We are pleased to be able to continue this important creative and philanthropic initiative for our students. Over the last two years, we have proven that we are a resilient community ready to adjust as needed to ensure our students experience success.
Last year, a significant portion of our Pi Day fundraising was directed to our . This fund continues to be a vital resource for those in need. That’s why we’re asking you to assist our students again this year with a Pi Day donation. All gifts in support of our students will be matched through our Matching Gift program. Our affinity partner, Johnson Insurance, will also match donations from faculty, staff and alumni—tripling the impact of your gift.
Ways to participate:
- Make your donation or through payroll deduction by Monday, March 31.
- Spread the word on social media using #OntarioTechPiDay and encourage your network to do the same.
- Participate in our virtual and on-campus Pi Day of Giving events, including:
- with Â鶹´«Ã½ experts: Monday, March 14 to Friday, March 25 weekdays (weekdays, noon to 1 p.m.).
- On-campus Pie Party on Monday, March 14 from noon to 3:14 p.m. in Shawenjigewining Hall and 61 Charles Street Building.
- on Monday, March 14 at 7 p.m.
- hosted by Athletics. Bid on an autographed Toronto Maple Leafs’ hockey stick, a two-night stay at a hotel of your choice, restaurant gift cards and more. The auction is underway until Friday, March 25 at 3:14 p.m.
