Check out the Age-Friendly Campus Community Connect Event on August 10
Parents and older adults curious about campus life at Â鶹´«Ã½ University can have their own experience at the upcoming Age-Friendly Campus Community Connect Event on Wednesday, August 10.
The university will open its doors to the community for this event where participants will hear from the university’s founding President, Dr. Gary Polanski, and learn about the university’s commitment to becoming an Age-Friendly University.
Participants will meet staff and students and tour world-class facilities such as the , the , and the newly built Shawenjigewining Hall.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning with a welcome at 10 a.m. in room 2056 in the Energy Systems and Nuclear Science Research Centre.
A complimentary BBQ lunch will be offered at Vaso’s Field between noon and 1 p.m.
Free parking is available in Founders Lot 2.
