Athabasca University Research Office hosing info session on creating an ORCID record
On Thursday, October 19 from noon to 1 p.m., the Athabasca University Research Office will host a session called ORCID 101: Create and populate your ORCID Record. This session will provide critical information for researchers on how Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) can support them.
ORCID is an open, community-driven, and global not-for-profit that distinguishes you from others with similar names. It also helps connect you to your scholarship across time, disciplines, and borders. Learn what ORCID is and how it can help you. This live and interactive workshop on how to create an ORCID ID, and effectively maintain information in ORCID, will be led by John Aspler, the Canadian Persistent Identifier (PID) Community Manager.
