Join a community of practice at the Teaching and Learning Centre
The Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) facilitates communities of practice, in which members of the Â鶹´«Ã½ community come together to address shared instruction-related concerns, problems or interests, and collaborate on individual and group goals.
What topics are covered?
TLC communities of practice currently focus on two areas:
- Generating ideas, seeking feedback, and sharing resources and stories related to Indigenizing and decolonizing content, instructional approaches, and interactions.
- Exploring guidelines for implementing UDL principles, inclusive instructional design, instructional multimedia design, and accessible instruction to reduce barriers in any learning environment.
Who can participate?
- Â鶹´«Ã½ instructors, teaching assistants, and staff are welcome.
How often do the communities meet?
- The communities meet monthly. In between meetings, group members use online course sites to stay connected.
