Service disruption notice: Concrete walkway and curb repairs at Charles Hall on the week of July 8
During the week of Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12, construction crews will be on site at Charles Hall and the Baagwating Indigenous Student Centre (downtown Oshawa campus location) to repair concrete, walkways, curbs and sidewalks.
The front entrance of Charles Hall will be obstructed for approximately two days while the new concrete is poured and cured. During this time, visitors should use the alternative side door south of the main entrance indicated in the photo below. The door will be monitored and/or unlocked between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to allow visitors to enter. Outside of these hours, contact the Charles Hall Security Desk at 905.721.8668 ext. 5616 to request entrance. You can exit through the door at any time.
Important note about accessibility: While the work near the Charles Hall front entrance is being completed, visitors will not have access to the building’s accessibility elevator. If you need assistance to access the building, contact Lorrie Hennig, Budget Officer, Office of Campus Infrastructure and Sustainability, to make alternative arrangements.
