Call for projects: Undergraduate Research Awards (URAs) - Summer 2025
To all Â鶹´«Ã½ University Tenured and Tenure-Track Faculty, and Teaching Faculty:
Do you have a research project an undergraduate student could contribute to between May and August 2025? Submit your project description for the Undergraduate Research Awards (URA) program by Friday, November 15 at 3 p.m. via the . Use your ontariotechu.net account to access the form.
The URA program is a university-wide student competition managed by the Office of Research Services (ORS) that allocates awards to students contributing to summer research projects under the supervision of Â鶹´«Ã½ University faculty members. These awards include:
Students who apply for an award need to know which faculty members are interested in supervising an undergraduate student and the available projects they could potentially contribute to.
ORS will post the proposed project descriptions on the URA website beginning Friday, November 1 on a rolling basis. Student applications will open on November 1 and will remain open until early January 2025. Students will also receive application instructions to their ontariotechu.net email.
