Updated network password requirements
Starting Thursday, November 21 Â鶹´«Ã½ staff and faculty will be required to create network passwords that are a minimum of 12 characters. This updated requirement will come into effect the next time a staff or faculty member is asked to reset their password. No action is needed until your next password reset.
Your new password cannot contain your user ID, your name or your banner number and it must include at least three of the following elements:
- One or more uppercase characters {A - Z}
- One or more lowercase characters {a - z}
- One or more numeric characters {0–9}
- One or more symbol characters {!@#$%^&*()-+}
In addition, IT Services will extend the password expiry interval from 120 days to 365 days with your next password reset.
